Matsushita Yuki khởi nghiệp vào đầu năm 1980 và lập tức có vai diễn đầu tay. Năm 1984, cô sang Mỹ học chuyên sâu về vũ đạp. Năm 1986, cô trở về Nhật chuyên tâm diễn xuất. Cô từng đạt giải thưởng về diễn xuất.

Matsushita Yuki sinh ra ở Nayoro, Hokkaido nhưng lớn lên ở Nagoya, tỉnh Aichi. Cô đầu tuần cho Amuse, sau đó mở công ty riêng để quản lý cho mình.

Giải thưởng: Nữ phụ xuất sắc nhất trong phim Shumatsukon tại 21st Television Drama Academy Awards.
